Maximum Power Transfer Condition

Maximum Power Transfer Condition

Definition:
In AC circuits, maximum power transfer occurs when the load impedance matches the complex conjugate of the source impedance.

Example:
If the source impedance Zs=Rs+jXsZ_s = R_s + jX_s, the maximum power transfer occurs when the load impedance ZL=RsjXsZ_L = R_s - jX_s. This ensures maximum energy delivery to the load.
